Rideau Roots is a professional garden care business and native plant nursery, weaving these worlds together to create beautiful and biodiverse gardens within the Rideau Lakes and surrounding areas.

Established in 2017, Rideau Roots provides a range of services, including garden design and installation, regular garden maintenance, mulching, weeding, pruning and annual planting. We garden with special care and consideration for insects and wildlife and will always encourage native species as our primary plant choices.

In 2023, Rideau Roots expanded operations and opened a small-scale native plant nursery. The plants are grown from seed on site and raised with loving care. All are native to North America, with the majority being native to Ontario.
