Standard First Aid with CPR “C” Course – Seeley’s Bay Nov. 3rd and Nov. 4th

Standard First Aid with CPR “C” will be held on Thursday, November 3rd, AND Friday, November 4th, 8:30 am-4 pm upstairs at the Fire Hall, 151 Main Street in Seeley’s Bay. This is the workplace WSIB standard for First Aid and CPR, valid for 3 years from the Canadian Red Cross. Course content includes first aid for choking, adult, child and infant CPR, AED (defibrillator) training, first aid for life-threatening bleeding, head and spinal injuries, bone, muscle and joint injuries and wound care. Additional topics include sudden medical and environmental emergencies. There is a written test from the Red Cross, and students must attend both days of training and practice. $160 pp payable to the Township of Leeds and the Thousand Islands.
